I see an image of beauty

Innocent smiles

A hidden wild child

With underlying curves

The Future promise

A heart pure and true

One rose on the bush

Standing out to

Show the world

What may seem to be

Untouchable

And not as it seem

On a whole new level

Like a diamond in its rough

She brings

Much light to dark eyes

So much surprise

Here lies the answer

To the unknown

Powerfully shown

Homegrown in Wisdom

Although many can't see

What lies behind it all

I often dream of you

In this bed alone

What more can I do?

Sleep doesn't come on time

When I have you on my mind

Time flashes by

You're still not at my side

When I am in this position to be held by you

it is all that I can do to not be carried away

let my breathing become choppy

be enveloped in this wave of emotion

in the rocking & rolling

of our twin souls... colliding

maybe it's not the right time.

Beckoning me

To the broad open canvas

Which I long to be held

Close to.

Our bodies intertwined

Sharing passion.

What is it that we were trying to find

In this so-called romance of ours

Is it a feeling of actually needing each other

That we lack?

Perhaps fear?

I just need to know

Maybe if I find out,

We could grow

Blossom into something beautiful

A Lilac, Or long-stemmed rose.

Aroused

To find love in zones beyond our knowledge.

Shocked

To explore each others love, & experience an ever lasting effect.

Bewildered

Who knew it would be so great

I didn't want you to leave

But it was too late.

In denial that I could be welcomed unto you with such open arms

A full heart & soul that is completely ready

To mend my wounds left behind by past loves.

Before he kissed me

Only winds of Heaven had kissed me

& the tenderness of rain

Now that he has come, I can care for kisses like his again.

I sought the sea, He sent his winds to meet

They stayed about me singing of the south,

I turned my ear away to keep still. Holy.

His kiss upon my mouth & swift winds of shining April weather.

I found my lips not living kisses, The more I bowed my head

The lest they put out my lung

I am my love & he is mine forever sealed with a kiss

For him I could let a beggar enter where a king stood before.
